Five Steps To Success In Everything You Do

Filed under: Success Guideline — admin at 1:07 am on Monday, June 16, 2008

If you follow these 5 steps, no doubt you will get everything you want!

1. What you need first is to have a strong desire. A desire like a fire! Not like a little flame you have to stir to get some heat going. No, you need a strong desire, you must really want to have what you long for! If you want something badly, but you didn’t get it until now, it is your desire was not strong enough! You must really feel the desire to have it in your bones, in your flesh, in your heart. The desire is the starting point, because without passion nothing can happen.

2. Now you need to set goals. Why? To know where to go! Without goals your desire will get you nowhere and you will turn around in circles like a dog who runs after his own tail. A goal gives you a reason, a purpose. The word goal means to GO ALl the way to get there! Your goal is your direction where your desire will take you. If you’re able to see with your mind’s eye what you want, you will have it. So the more details you see, the more concrete is your mental image, the more likely you will get exactly what you long for! Goals get your energy running. Goals generate the necessary activity to bring you towards the realization of your dream. A good goal is a statement of what you want, in a positive, clear, concrete way and with emotion (remember the fire! Without emotion, without fire, no outcome!). A goal should be written down, to give it more energy, and should be stated in the present time. You write your goal down as if you got it already. And start to act as if you were
already there!

3. You must believe in yourself. You must really be conscious of the fact that you are worth to have what you desire and that you are able to get it, that you got everything you need to realize your dream. Yes you can! Maybe you do not know for now how to get there, but believe in the fact that you will learn step by step how to do it and that you will be guided on your way by co

The Mental Process of Achieving Financial and Personal Success

Filed under: Success Guideline — admin at 1:36 am on Sunday, June 15, 2008

The amazing paradox of success is that everybody knows the ’secret’ of how to achieve it, but few are willing to apply the principles that virtually guarantee the attainment of almost anything you want. It’s no mystery that if you identify a goal, write down a plan for reaching it, and follow that plan with persistence, determination, and focus, you stand a good chance of realizing your dream or, at the very least, creating an outcome that puts you in a much better place than you were before making the attempt.

Why doesn’t everybody make a plan, take continuous action, and pursue their dreams? Why do so many people settle for a measly paycheck, an unsatisfying life, and a humdrum existence? In our society, there’s a rampant epidemic of undeveloped potential. The solution will continue to elude the masses because it’s not something that can be seen, touched, or measured. If you’re not producing the results you desire in your life, the problem could stem from concentrating too much on the ‘here-and-now’ instead of what could be.

The ticket to a higher standard of living and a more fulfilling lifestyle is available to anyone willing to cultivate the states of mind known as faith, hope, and belief. Focusing on the concrete aspects of life rather than the invisible resources that our five senses can’t perceive is what 90% of the world does on a day-to-day basis. Obviously it’s the other 10% (or less) who have faith in themselves, believe in their dreams, and have hope that their actions will propel them to a more prosperous and joyful future.

On the journey to success or happiness, the biggest obstacles are not in the concrete world, but rather in the inner world of thought and imagination. Having your plans and aspirations obscured by self doubt, fear of failure, and the negativity of those around you is a surefire roadmap for going nowhere fast.

So can we blame our parents and teachers for telling us not to be dreamers and not to waste our time on what they viewed as unrealistic pipe dreams? Well, we could, but it would be a lot more productive to take responsibility for our own lives and focus on taking deliberate, consistent, daily action toward the realization of our goals.

A woman who cut my hair several months ago said she was tired of working three jobs for low pay, and was interested in starting an Internet business as I had. I emailed her a few step-by-step instructions for getting started, and, although I never heard back from her, I’d be willing to bet she never followed through with the information I gave her. My guess is that she didn’t have the courage to embark on something outside her comfort zone of cutting hair and waiting tables. She sounded intelligent and had even taken some computer classes, but her negative inner dialogue probably talked her out of it. What she may not have realized is that when you start moving forward and taking positive action toward a goal, new doors open up and guidance is provided.

Your life is not set in stone; it’s a continual work in progress. Change begins with a conscious decision, and is implemented one step at a time. ‘Comfort Zone’ is another way of saying ’self-imposed limitations’. Unless you make yourself a little uncomfortable by expanding the boundaries of what currently feels safe and comfortable, your accomplishments will be unremarkable and your personal growth will stagnate.

Christian Success - Why Most Christians Struggle with Success

Filed under: Success Guideline — admin at 1:31 am on Saturday, June 14, 2008

“You have not, because you ask not”

James 4:2

It’s our fault we are not successful and don’t experience Christian Success.

Not God’s.

Christ Himself gave us the key to success by simply using the word ASK.

But yet, we have a tendency to ask of others, the world, our friends, and ourselves, before we ever ask God.

It’s called “Living Horizontally.”

The first thing we do, is look around us to see who we can ask, what we can do, who we know, and where we need to go to find what we desire.

We need to “Go Vertical” and ask God what He can do, and who he knows, first and foremost. This one Christian Success Secret can revolutionize your Success.

We all struggle with living Horizontally, as it is part of being all too human.

But why not ask?

Ask God for the Success that you desire, and ask of His Holy Help, and His Holy Touch.

God can do more in one Divine Breath, than you can in a lifetime of 24/7 effort.

Is your Success Journey on Life Support? Are you supporting it with your life and efforts, but not God’s?

Your Success should be on God’s Life Support System, and let Him breathe His Life into your Achievement, and the Holy Spirit support you, as only He can. God’s Power is Unimaginable, and Undeniable.

Ask Him to breathe on your efforts and put some new life in your daily Christian Success walk. His Success then becomes your Success.

He’s waiting.

Heavenly Father,

I ask you right now to move in a powerful way in my life today. Open the doors that only You can open. Open the conversations that only You can open. Open the minds of people that only You can open. Open my eyes to what You Alone can accomplish in this world and in my life with Your Holy Breath. Christ said that anything we ask in His Name, it will be done. So I am asking you in Christ’s Name to bring into my life the right people, the right circumstances, the right favor, and the right timing that only You can orchestrate, to help me succeed. You are Success. You are My God. You are My Savior. And I worship Your Holy Name Forever!

In Jesus’s Name,

Amen

Blessings…doug
